A brief history of the model:
The North American F-82 Twin Mustang was a unique and powerful long-range escort fighter developed near the end of World War II. Essentially two P-51 fuselages joined by a shared wing and horizontal stabilizer, the F-82 was designed for endurance and heavy firepower, making it ideal for bomber escort, all-weather interception, and early Cold War air defence. Though it saw limited combat in WWII, it made history during the Korean War by scoring the first U.S. air victory of the conflict.
